Commerce now has a second customer: machines. AI agents already research and compare for people - but every store is built for humans. What happens when one tries to buy? We're building that missing layer.
Machine Commerce is an applied AI research lab for the agentic economy, a General Machines company.
We study how machines buy: how agents read product pages, compare offers, and complete checkouts, and what merchants must change to be chosen.
We publish open research, conformance tooling, and public benchmarks, so agent readiness is measured, not marketed.
Launched in 2026, the lab is led by Deepanshu Pal and Pratham Bhatnagar.
